Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to start a sales journey of positioning our company as a technology leader in Spanish-speaking Latin America. Our company has surpassed a key milestone of a small representation company, and we are now looking forward into building sales partners and customers that will lay the foundation for us to become a knowledge hub in the region.
As a Sales Representative, you will be a key player in our sales organization, responsible for identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and effectively demonstrating the value of our cutting-edge automation solutions. You will work with diverse industries, helping them optimize their operations, increase efficiency, and achieve their business objectives through our advanced technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Follow the strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas
Qualify
Identify and qualify new leads and business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
Execute
Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the clients' challenges and propose tailored technology and automation solutions.
Build and Maintain
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key decision-makers at all levels.
CRM
We use a CRM software, so part of your weekly activities will be to have it update with all the activities related to your role
Typical Weekly Workload for a Sales Representative
Selling Activities (70%):
This is the core function and includes direct interactions with prospects and customers aimed at advancing the sale. Activities such as identifying and qualifying new potential customers, cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and researching target accounts; conducting discovery calls, product demonstrations, client meetings (virtual or in-person); preparing detailed documents, customizing proposals, and generating pricing; delivering proposals, working through contract terms, pricing discussions, and finalizing deals.
CRM Updates & Data Entry (10%):
Logging calls, updating lead/opportunity statuses, managing contact information, and forecasting.
Planning & Strategy (10%):
Thinking, organizing, and preparing for future sales activities.
Internal Meetings (5%):
Team meetings, training sessions, product updates, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, engineering, or customer success.
Learning & Development (5%):
Staying up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, sales techniques, and market dynamics. This includes reading, webinars, and formal training.
Qualification Requirements
Undergraduate
A technical degree or superior is accepted
Experience
Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with at least experience, preferably in technology, industrial equipment, software, or a related field.
Sales Methodologies
It is highly preferred that the individual has knowledge or training in sales methodologies such as Sandler, MEDDIC, Challenger or Korn Ferry training.
Areas of Knowledge
Any area of knowledge is accepted. Engineering, Networking and Computer knowledge is preferred.
Language
Fluent in Spanish (Native or C2). English B2 or C1 (+C1 is preferred)

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as needed

There will be a qualification system that will grade each candidate according to their experience. Years of experience and recommendation letters will be important criteria for valuation.
Physical Requirements
In some cases, it would be needed to visit the customer's location. Because of the industrial nature of our customers, personal protective equipment will be needed when doing these visits. The necessary equipment will be provided by NV Tecnologias.
The candidate must reside in Costa Rica. Any location within the country will be considered, but they must be able to travel to Grecia, Alajuela, Heredia, San José or any other GAM site for on-site meetings and training.
